The Hordle Community Association

The Hordle Community Association does what it says on the tin!

The HCA is here to look after the day to day running of the Hordle Community Centre. The HCA not only looks after the bookings for the hall but will be putting on more and more events for Hordle residents and the surounding areas.

The current events on offer are THE SATURDAY CAFE, BINGO EVENINGS and even events like the pop up pubs.

There will be other events that will hopefully become regular as time goes on, there will also be time were the community can come along and just enjoy a drink, company and some light entertainment.

For more information keep an eye on the website and/or our social media pages.

History of the HCA

The HCA started life in March 1989 with Reg Wareham (recently deceased) being one of the founding members and Chairman along with Julie Newhan, and Shirley Hoy acting as secretary. The first meeting took place in the Memorial Hall on Woodcock Lane on 27th February 1989.

We welcome new members who will all get benefits and reduced prices for our activities.

There are numerous vacancies for new members as we are looking forward to arrangements for the Party In The Park, so please if you have any time to spare and would like to volunteer please let the secretary know or any of the committee members. The Hordle Community association has been created for you, the residents of Hordle, to bring together all householders of whatever age.
