At the hub of Hordle is the sports pavilion and recreation ground, sitting to the rear of the pharmacy with access for cars off Vaggs Lane.
There is free parking for 55 vehicles with disabled parking. The actual pavilion has a generous sized hall suitable for up to 97 with free WiFi, integrated sound system, good acoustics, and an amazing state of the art video and sound system. It also boasts a fitted kitchen with coffee machine (chargeable if required).
There is a licensed bar available on request at a small charge. There are toilets and a disabled toilet for the users of the hall.
PLEASE NOTE: Bookings will only be confirmed once full payment has been received.
We have three booking periods daily: Morning until 12.30pm, Afternoon 2.00 pm until 5.30 pm, and Evenings from 6.00 pm. Other times may be negotiated at our discretion.
The price is £45 per session and there may be a deposit required of £50 against damage, returnable the day following the event. Additional hours may be booked at our discretion.
The recreation ground has an activity area for runners and walkers, a cricket pitch, football pitch, tennis courts and a boules court and any OUTSIDE space needed must be booked through Hordle Parish Council (01425 611119). All bookings for the Pavilion must be made through the Hordle Community Association.
Beside the hall are WI Hall, Scout Hut, a part time surgery, and a chemist. Locally we have a pub called the Three Bells serving pub grub, with a Premier Inn attached which is next to a garage with a convenience store. In Stopples Lane halfway down on the right we have a good array of shops including a Co-Op store. Hatherley’s hairdressers, Needles & Pins, for all our knitting and sewing needs, Everything Pets pet shop, and a Chinese take-away.

Once your booking is confirmed, you will be given access details (key safe and alarm).
Sound balancing acoustic panels are fitted for excellent acoustics.
There are a selection of square, oblong and round tables with chairs for up to 97 people.
Conducive learning environment, with free wi-fi and Bluetooth, drop down HDMI and VGA projector, screen, white board and flip chart.
There are both Male and Female toilets and a baby changing station off the entrance hall.
There is a fully disabled toilet with emergency alarm off the entrance hall.
There is an adjoining free car park outside the main entrance for 55 vehicles, including disabled parking spaces.
There is a staffed Licenced Bar on request with your booking with a token charge, dependent on staff availability. Product price list on request.
There is a modern fully equipped kitchen with a five-ring electric range cooker/oven, microwave, freezer, fridge, instant hot water beverage boiler,, a comprehensive range of cups, saucers, plates, side plates, cutlery, tea & coffee pots with a serving counter directly to the main hall, as well as use of the coffee machine (if required).
Double doors from hall to grassed area/recreation ground with 2m wide metal ramp for disabled access.
There are special rates for full day hire and repeat hire.
